BOGOR, October 7, 2025 – PT Cisarua Mountain Dairy Tbk (Cimory) (IDX: CMRY) is strengthening its commitment to energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction through the installation of a Solar Photovoltaic (Solar PV) with a total capacity of 1,104 kWp at Cimory’s dairy processing facility in Sentul, Bogor. With the installation of the Solar PV system, Cimory’s dairy processing facility is expected to reduce approximately 210 tons of CO2 per month, equivalent to around 2,500 tons of CO2 annually.

The inauguration and commissioning ceremony of the Solar PV system was attended by Cimory’s management team and strategic partners, including Cimory Group President Commissioner Bambang Sutantio, Cimory Group President Director Farell Sutantio, Cimory Dairy Manufacturing Director Pamungkas Bayu Triprasetyo, PT Alam Energy Renewables (AER) President Director Soichiro Nishimori, and PT Kanematsu Trading Indonesia (Kanematsu) President Director Taro Sakai.

Cimory Group President Director Farell Sutantio stated, “We are committed to contributing to carbon emission reduction within the manufacturing sector through the installation of solar power plants at Cimory’s dairy processing facilities. This initiative represents a collaboration between the Cimory Group and Alam Energi as our strategic partner in reducing the company’s carbon footprint through the utilization of solar energy,” said Farell Sutantio.

The Solar PV system installed at the Sentul production facility has a total capacity of 1,104 kWp, consisting of 1,856 solar panels, each with a capacity of 595 Wp. Based on calculations, the Solar PV system can generate up to 5,300 kWh of energy per day, which will be entirely utilized for factory operations without being connected to the electricity grid. The energy produced by the Solar PV is estimated to meet up to 10.3% of the facility’s total electricity demand.

Cimory Dairy Manufacturing Director Pamungkas Bayu Triprasetyo added, “The large-scale installation of Solar PV at our dairy processing facility is aimed at increasing the use of renewable energy within our main operational areas, allowing our production system to become more efficient and environmentally friendly. Previously, Cimory had already utilized solar energy for street lighting around the plant area. This initiative forms part of Cimory’s ongoing efforts to enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions,” said Pamungkas Bayu Triprasetyo.

In addition to utilizing solar energy, Cimory has also implemented various energy efficiency initiatives across its manufacturing facilities. The company uses boilers equipped with economizers to reduce gas fuel consumption, replaces freon-based cooling systems with liquid ammonia systems, and converts electrical chillers into absorption chiller systems that consume less energy. All production areas have been fitted with LED lighting equipped with operational time controls to maximize the use of natural daylight through transparent roof panels. Wind-powered ventilator systems have also been applied to support natural air circulation throughout the production areas.
